a nice bit of kit makes a big difference.

we’ve always wanted bring good, solid equipment to the table. we’ve upgraded our stock parts over the last two years so our designs play to their fullest potential, out-of-box. from saturn pads produced with our friends at rso, to the incredibly lush case study 50 strings made by the awesome people at zipline, and the most recently debuted type i concave bearing.

we’re glad to finally make these parts available to you in quantities that make sense for a year-long stockpile, or a quick pick-me-up to keep those jam sessions fresh.

type i concaves are a bearing type we’ve featured in a few recent releases (all noahs have come with these studs). we’ve gotten a ton of emails and messages asking about them.

they surfaced during research and testing we did on bearing types to figure which paired best with side effects, and we found these to perform brilliantly. they quickly became our bearing of choice. they’re creamy-smooth, reliable, and they work perfectly with our side effects models.

obviously, they’re a dream to play on our non-side effects designs, too. for that reason, all releases from august 2022 onwards will feature the type i concave as our baseline bearing.

stratos pads are 19mm-compatible response pads we’ve developed over the last few months.

our new black stratos pads are similar to saturn pads, and are also made to a shore 30 hardness rating — we believe these are the softest pad types that are currently available. they provide nice, reliable and predictably tight binds, even at low rpms.

for those who pile on thick string layers and need something more tempered, we’ve also made a white, shore 40 version, which play a touch less grippy. go halfsies if you prefer something in between.

releases from august 2022 onwards will also feature stratos pads as our response system of choice.

we will also be putting up kitty string first class xl in classic white on our store. these are the most ubiquitous bulk strings in their fattest, fluffiest format.

we’re also offering them in 10 and 20-count packs, for if you need a quick top-up.

and finally, supply packs are bite-sized replenishments meant to cover all of your bases, and refuel your play without having to get parts in large quantities.

each supply pack includes 10 stratos pads, 2 type i concaves, and a bundle of 20 kitty first class xl strings.

in other words, an easy refill of equipment to keep things fresh.

we’ll continue to add, swap out and upgrade parts with time, but, presently, these are equipment that we’re incredibly happy with.

they’re now available on our store… and can be picked up alongside something that may be coming your way in a week or two.
